A Day in the Life of Colton...

Eating...Here he is "smoking" his bottle (which he no longer takes cuzz he has gained over a pound since birth!)

Sleeping...(yes, he has a purple blanket, the other side is brown, see above pic)

Chillin'

If you click to enlarge this pic, you can see the "swirl" in his hair on his forehead, earning him the name Superman.

Colton is doing great! He is very sweet, has bright eyes, and fuzzy hair that will not lay down! We have been SOOO spoiled this past week with my parents (and nephew Brady) here. They took great care of us, entertained the older kids, made meals, did laundry, cleaned etc. We even went to Coeur d'Alene one day! They are being missed....A LOT! Pictures to come...

Welcome to Colton!

Colton Andrew Banks made a FAST and grand entrance on June 30, 2010! I started having contractions at 8:30 on Wednesday night, got to the hospital around 9:45 and then he arrived at 10:20 pm with NO time for an epidural; much to my dismay! When we arrived, I was already dilated to an 8 and ten minutes later, I was at a 10. We made the nurses scramble, for sure! If you have the option of an epidural or not, I would say EPIDURAL all the way!!! Colton was a tiny 5 lbs. 6 oz. Since he was so tiny he couldn't keep his temperature up and his blood sugar was low so they put him in the NICU for 24 hours. He regulated himself fairly quickly and we got to go home last night (Friday). We are now doing well and resting a lot. The other kids sure love their new baby brother. They are treating him well! We love our little man Colton!!
