Latest and Greatest

Here are some of the things we did with Grandma and Grandpa Lindsey and Grandma Banks:
Went to the park (few times),
Maggie Moo's (yummy ice cream place)
Finger painted (see next post)
Played lots of games and puzzles
Sydnie got her hair chopped
Got new couch covers
Organized my basement (thanks mom!!)
Lots of talking etc! Fun times!!!!!!!!

p.s. Not sure why Aaron changed the name of the blog to Razzle Dazzle...what is THAT?????

Fun with Gram and Gramps

Mom and Dad just left this morning...snif sniff. I am really sad, but I guess we have to get back to reality some time or other. We had a blast with them we got MAJORLY spoiled! Seriously, mom cleaned, cooked, held Landon, did laundry, organized, mopped, talked etc. Dad took the kids on walks, the zoo, children's museum, did the dishes, BBQed, set up a storage shelf, and fixed things around the house!!!!! HOW NICE! We are so blessed! Before my parents came, my mom-in-law came for 3 days!! MAN, I WOULD NOT have survived those days with out her!!!! We LOVE you guys!

Now that they are gone, it will be a big slap in the face. We are doing well though. Landon is cuter than ever and sleeping a bit better. Speaking of Landon, he is calling me!

new addition

Here are some photos of the new addition. We love him so much already, Sydnie and Wesley were smiling ear to ear. We did a middle name change right at the last minute so his new name is Landon Joseph Banks. We are home now and don't have the luxury of nurses waiting on Shannon hand and foot, I guess that's my job until the moms get here. Everyone is healthy and happy. Landon weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. and was 18.5 inches long. Landon was 3.5 weeks early and technically considered a premie (by 4 days); Shannon has consistently had the kids early for one reason or another. I think her body gets to a point and says 'I can't take it anymore'.

Thanks everyone for your support. I know my meager explanation probably falling short of Shannon's version so she can correct me with anything else you may want to know. A few people have said they will be in Spokane, just let us know when.

Pictures continued...

The kids got to "ride" the tractor, and do crafts and all kids of things at the park. They also got to go swimming at Aunt Carrie's house in their cool new pool. The water was sooo cold, we were surprised they went in. The kids were in HEAVEN the whole time Even better: doing all these things with cousins...PRICELESS! We had a BLAST, Thanks C & T for hosting us! Hope you all had a happy 4th...(scroll down to see the 1st post)

It's about time, YA THINK?

We have been really busy these last few weeks, so I am finally getting around to an update. First off, we got a little kiddie pool at a yard sale and just in the nick of time. It has been so hot here, the kids have been going in everyday (along with Aaron and me).

Second, our friends from Pullman just had a baby and they came last week to visit us for the day! Sydnie was OBSESSED with the baby (her name is Jazlynn). I think she will be a big help when her brother comes.

3rd I made strawberry jam (pictures to come). It turned out YUMMY!!!

4th we went to Ellensburg (for those that don't know, it's right in the middle of the state) for the 4th of July where Carrie and Tyler (Aaron's sis and hubby) live. It's a tiny town it's only three hours away and they just moved there!!! YEAH...family is moving closer HAPPY DAY. We met Aaron's parents over there on the 4th and made some MORE strawberry jam (Carrie bought 58 lbs of strawberries), talked, ate, played, the boys went fishing, and then it was off to the "park" for dinner, carnival type games and fireworks. It was a great production put on by Tyler's work. The only problem is that it was SOOOOO windy, which made it REALLY cold when the sun went down. The kids had a blast jumping in the jump castles, running around, playing with Uncle Danner, who got beat up repeatedly, face painting, dancing to the REALLY loud music, and Sydnie even got to ride on the mechanical bull which NO ONE got to see except Danner, so I have no pictures! :0( WAHHH. He said she did really well though. The fireworks were really good for such a small town and all the kids TOTALLY loved it. I used to have the BIGGEST fear of fireworks when I was little, I guess it was too loud for me, but our kids didn't have that problem at all!
